The Perfect Risen

It has ended. But it also has begun. We had 3 wonderful nights, 3 nights of being bonded and united in prayer, 1 of which was full of emotion. The third day....

It is through serving God together that we learn about people, we grow closer to those we hardly speak to and we learn to love people. It is also through these things that we discover how amazing other people are when they make a choice to serve God with whatever gifts they have. We prayed that God will take our little talents and multiply them for His kingdom and this did happen, literally. I'm glad we did this, although it was not always easy. I'm thankful for the relationships and bonds we have formed. And most of all, I'm thankful for that 1 soul, whoever that is.

If you are reading this and you are part of the cast, crew and production team of The Perfect Murdered, I thank you for the bottom of my heart. You are amazing and I am so encouraged by each of you. Thank you for being part of my church family. You guys rock.

Now, on to the next one.

Murder and Melancholy

It's tomorrow. I'm a third excited, a third nervous, a third sad. Excited because God's message is going to touch people yet again, nervous in case I forget to take a breath between my lines and sad because this means it's going to be over by Saturday.

I am so proud of it though. I'm so proud of all those people who have made big and small sacrifices to make it happen. This is what being a family is all about, and I'm proud to be part of this one.

For some strange reason, I have been feeling contemplative lately. Maybe it's a sign of maturity, but I think it's more about people around me, especially those close to my heart. Two of them struggling with their walk with God, one of them leaving, one of them stressed and a few others, just... broken. I wish I could buy an island and keep all of them there and make them happy.

Time for that drink of honey, the celebrated remedy for a strained voice :)
